Jeff Franklin
Jeff is the owner and CEO of Cobra Canine. He has dedicated the last 20 years developing the finest training techniques for pet obedience, drug and explosive detection, tracking, personal protection, and obedience. As a Canine behaviorist Jeff has trained over 4,000 dogs of most all breeds and handlers as pets for civilian life. Jeff has trained hundreds of dogs for police and special operations, such as SWAT, ERT and Special Force Military units. He has sharpened his abilities by training in Europe, Iraq, Afghanistan, and both South and Central America. Jeff has been responsible for training, certifying, and ensuring that police as well as military working dogs were ready to deploy in today’s theaters of operations. Jeff has been directly responsible for serving the needs of several large programs including Department of State, Pentagon, US Customs, US Military, Algeria Anti-Terrorist unit, Guatemala, El Salvador, Ecuador’s National Police and Government Palace and numerous US police departments. Jeff has over ten years experience of real world experience as a police canine handler and trainer, and has seen first hand the results of his efforts.
Matt Forsyth
Matt is an 8-year veteran of law enforcement. He has served in a variety of capacities including, K-9 trainer and handler, field instructor, SWAT team member and Police Training Officer. He has 10 years of dog training experience, specializing in police K-9, tactical obedience, sporting dogs, detection and tactical operations to include active shooters, extractions techniques, and hostage rescue. He currently provides curriculum and training for the K-9 teams at Naval Special Warfare Group 2.
Mitch Myers
Mitch is a 10 year veteran of the US Navy, where he spent 8 years as a US Navy SEAL. He was attached to SEAL team 10 and completed several tours of duty in Afghanistan, Africa, and Iraq. He has extensive experience as a scout sniper, helicopter insertion specialist, range safety officer, and Naval Special Warfare Canine Handler. In addition to this, Mitch has 5 years of canine handling and training experience, specializing in combat tactics, both on leash and off leash obedience, detection, and tactical operations to include active shooters, barricaded shooters, multiple shooting threats, hostage rescue, and long range explosive detection. Mitch currently provides curriculum and training for the K-9 teams of Naval Special Warfare Group 2.
Rich Hardin
Rich is a 15-year veteran of law enforcement. He has served in a variety of capacities including, K-9 trainer and handler, field instructor, defensive tactics instructor, SWAT team member and sniper, and Police Training Officer.
Rich has trained hundreds of dogs and handlers. He currently provides curriculum and training for handlers and their dogs He has 7 years of dog training experience, specializing in obedience, detection and tactical operations to include active shooters, extractions techniques, and hostage rescue.
Ulrika Nagengast
Ulrika is the Director of Operations for Cobra Canine. With over ten years of business, management and marketing experience she aids the Cobra Canine team in all business aspects.
Mike Beaulieu
Mike is the Kennel Master for Cobra Canine. He is an experienced K-9 Handler and Military Police Working Dog Handler.
TJ Wimmer
TJ takes care of all Kennel Support for Cobra Canine.
